School and Library Visits
Currently booking school and library visits for Spring 2013!
As a former English teacher and middle school librarian, there is no group of people I feel more at home talking to than kids, which is why I love doing school and library visits. In the past two years, I have visited over twenty five middle and high schools as a speaker, and those days have truly been some of the most rewarding to me as an author.
Past Presentation topics have included:
Becoming a writer, the writing and revision process, brainstorming ideas, setting goals and chasing dreams, writing myths, the practical aspects of a career as a writer, the publication process, writing building blocks and resouces, etc.
Most presentations are very question-driven, which makes for a unique experience every time!
Available Presentations
Full Day Visit: (May be split between two schools)
–Up to three large group presentations
– Two smaller group sessions, i.e.–writing workshop, book club meeting, etc.
